In Fato Relevante disclosed on July 21, the Santo Antônio Energia S.A explains to the market, disclosure in the BMF&Bovespa site, the reasons for failure to fulfill notification of guarantees required by the Chamber of Electric Energy Commercialization (CCEE).
In Fato Relevante, the Santo Antônio Energia, called SAE, explains that, in accordance with the Instrução da Comissão de Valores Mobiliários (CVM) No. 358, of January 3, 2002, as amended, the following facts:
On 16/07/15 the SAE was notified by the Chamber of Electric Energy Commercialization (CCEE), which determined that the SAE present until the day 07/21/15, financial guarantees amounting to approximately R$ 470 million related to accounting of June /15.
The Company informs that despite the efforts made to the date, failed to obtain all the relevant guarantees within the financial institutions.
Thus, we inform that SAE will not honor with the contribution obligation as provided above guarantees.
“The SAE will continue to keep its shareholders and the market duly informed about the movements and the repercussions of this issue”, explains, in Fato Relevante, Luiz Pereira de Araújo Filho Investor Relations Director.
Who are the shareholders
On its website, the SAE disseminates that they are the 4th largest energy generator in Brazil, comprising, among the shareholders, for public and private companies, leaders in the generation and transmission: Furnas Centrais Elétricas, Caixa FIP Amazônia Energia, Odebrecht Energia do Brasil, SAAG Investmentos (S.A. Andrade Gutierrez) and Cemig Geração e Transmissão.
