Mexican mill La Concepcion, or La Concha, located in Jilotepec in Veracruz state, will resume operations next year and should produce ethanol.
According to the head of the Ministry of Agriculture Rural Development and Fisheries in the State (SEDARPA), Ramon Ferrari Pardiño, the government is in negotiations to produce the biofuels. The mill has been closed for five years.
He said the mill “La Concha” requires special attention to resume operations, with the construction of a new plant for the production of ethanol and for that they are looking for investors. But for now it will only process sugar.
