Future of car engines will be discussed at the Ethanol Summit
The future of automobile engines in the panel “hybrids, electric and flex-fuel, options or convergence?” will be one of the topics discussed at the Ethanol Summit 2011, held on 6 and 7 June in Sao Paulo.
According to organizers, the panel’s goal is to address the viability of electric cars and the possible union of flex (ethanol-gasoline) with electric.
Alfred Szwarc, a specialist in issues of technology at Union of Sugarcane Industry (UNICA) will moderate the debate, which will be attended Kent Niederhofer, president of the British auto industry friends, Paul Takeuchi, director of institutional Honda Motorcycles and Cirano Franco, President of Brazilian Automotive Engineering Association (AEA) and superintendent of Fiat Powertrain.
Yearbook of the Sugarcane
The 2011 Yearbook of Cana, which will be released soon, was chosen by Unica (União da Indústria de Cana-de-sugar) as media partner for the Ethanol Summit 2011, the largest international conference held in Brazil on biofuels, which brings together about 1,500 speakers from around the world.
Aiming to provide updated information on the sector to event participants, especially foreigners, Unica will provide copies of the 2001 Yearbook at the closing cocktail at the Ethanol Summit.
