Fiji invests in improvements in sugar industry

The FSC-Fiji Sugar Corporation has increased its collaboration with the farmers of the country, located in Oceania, to ensure that the delivery of cane fill in a pre-set time, its sugar mills, according to the newspaper Fiji Times.

The CEO of FSC Abdul Khan, said the shortage of cane  is a problem faced every year in this period, due to climate issues, but with the increased cooperation of everyone involved in the chain of sugar production, in a short period of time it is expected that everything gets back to normal.

“We are working together with farmers, cutters of cane and heavy vehicles drivers, to improve the quality of work and increase their skills for harvesting. Moreover, we are striving to have more efficiently with the means of transport as a whole, such as trucks and cars carrying the load, “he said.
