Arkansas project promotes biofuels

The De Witt County in the State of Arkansas , in the USA along with AAEF – Advanced Energy Association , launched a project to encourage the production of biofuels on Thursday , October 31 . The project aims to generate jobs and energy independence for the Delta region of Arkansas .

The AAEF that promotes public understanding for the development and use of renewable fuels in Arkansas sponsored a meeting for the first gallon of biodiesel production from local raw materials on a micro – biorefinery, production that will be between 200.000 and 1 million gallons per year. The biodiesel produced will be sold locally to municipal trucks , school buses , agricultural vehicles and private vehicles . If there is too much fuel, it will be sold to Arkansas and Memphis
